Cris, who is Board Certified as both a Nurse Midwife and a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, came to The Center for Women's Health with over 14 years of experience. During her career as a Certified Nurse Midwife, she has provided comprehensive Ob/Gyn care to women of all ages -- and has performed well over a thousand deliveries.

Drawing on her extensive midwifery background, Cris empowers women through education and support, helping them to make intelligent choices regarding their health and well-being. This holistic approach, combined with her comfort in utilizing all of the cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment modalities available today, allows Cris to provide the highest-quality care to her patients.

Cris received both of her advanced-practice, masters-level nursing degrees -- Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in 1992 and Certified Nurse Midwife in 1994 -- from the renowned University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in Philadelphia. In addition, Cris has pursued additional schooling to become both a Certified Fitness Instructor and a Personal Trainer, allowing her to help women achieve a healthier lifestyle through diet, exercise and stress management.
